WORCESTER, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team ended its fall campaign with a 9-0 loss at Clark.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In doubles play, Wentworth was involved in a pair of close matches. Junior Pranav Marwaha (Nashua, N.H.) teamed with sophomore Rene Rodriguez (Doral, Fla.), where they were defeated, 8-3, at No. 2. At No. 1, sophomore Eric Doraci (Natick, Mass.) and freshman Manas Arya (Hessen, Germany) fell, 8-4.
- Singles play saw Arya drop a nailbiter at No. 3, as, after he dropped the first set by a 6-0 score before battling back to win the second set, 7-6. In the tiebreaking set, he was defeated, 10-5.
