Men's Tennis Falls at Gordon
Leopards see their three-match win streak end in 7-2 loss; Daniel Gallegos and Rene Rodriguez win at No. 2 doubles while Niko Rosich wins at No. 6 singles

WENHAM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team saw its three-match win streak come to an end as the Leopards were defeated by Gordon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After falling behind, 2-0, in doubles play, the No. 2 tandem of senior Daniel Gallegos (Monterrey, Mexico) and sophomore Rene Rodriguez (Doral, Fla.) put Wentworth on the board with an 8-4 win.
- Gordon won the No. 2, No. 5, and No. 4 singles flights to take the win. At No. 4, junior Pranav Marwaha (Nashua, N.H.) forced a second set tiebreak.
- The Fighting Scots won at No. 1 and No. 3, with each match going three sets. At No. 1, Gallegos fell, 6-3, 2-6, 3-6, while freshman Manas Arya (Hessen, Germany) was defeated, 6-3, 4-6, 2-6, at No. 3.
- Junior Niko Rosich won at No. 6, rallying for a 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-6) win.
