BEVERLY, Mass. – Wrapping up a weekend slate of matches, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell to Endicott, 8-1, in Commonwealth Coast Conference play Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Endicott took a 2-0 lead in doubles play, however, the No. 2 tandem of senior Daniel Gallegos (Monterrey, Mexico) and Rene Rodriguez (Doral, Fla.) avoided the sweep with an 8-4 win.
- The Gulls used straight set wins at No. 3, No. 6, and No. 5 singles to clinch the match.
- At No. 2, freshman Manas Arya (Hessen, Germany) match went three sets before he fell in a tiebreaker, 7-10.
