SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team (0-3) wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule with a 7-0 loss at Springfield (4-0) on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Springfield swept doubles play to take a 1-0 lead. At No. 2. Pranav Marwaha and Manas Arya were defeated, 6-1, while Niko Rosich and Eric Doraci fell at No. 3, 6-2. At No.1 Rene Rodriguez and Andre Juscamaita had a battle, eventually falling in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-0).
James Weete was defeated at No. 6 singes, 6-1, 6-2, while Juscamaita fell, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 1 to make the score 3-0. Marwaha lost in the match that clinched the win for the Pride, falling 6-2, 6-0.
Rodriguez was defeated, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 4, Arya lost at No. 2, 6-3, 6-2, and Rosich dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 5.
