ORLANDO, Fla. – Playing at the USTA National Campus for its spring season opener, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team (0-4) was defeated by Moravian (6-1), 6-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After Moravian took No. 3 doubles, Eric Doraci and Andre Juscamaita teamed up at No. 1 to win, 6-1, and even the best of three doubles flights at a match apiece. However, the Greyhounds picked up the doubles point with a 6-3 win at No. 2.
- Moravian won at No. 3 singles and No. 6 singles to go ahead, 3-0, and clinched the match with a win at No. 6.
- Pranav Marwaha dropped his first set at No. 2, 4-6, before battling back to force a third set with a 7-5 win in the second set. The tiebreaking set saw him prevail, 10-5, to give the Leopards a point.
