ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Playing in its second-to-last match of its spring break trip, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell to Concordia Wisconsin, 7-0, on Wednesday.
The match was originally played at Sanlando Park, however, after a little more than an hour, the match was halted due to heavy rains that moved through. The match was completed at the USTA National Campus, under the lights.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Concordia took all three doubles flights to take a 1-0 lead. At No. 1 doubles, Eric Doraci and Andre Juscamaita narrowly lost at No. 1, falling 5-7.
- The Falcons won the first four singles matches to be completed to clinch the match. Juscamaita lost a very competitive match at No. 1, falling 4-6, 6-7 (6-8).
