ORLANDO, Fla. – Playing in its spring break finale, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell to Anderson (6-5), 6-1, at the Lake Cane Tennis Center on Thursday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Anderson took all three doubles flights to grab a 1-0 lead. At No. 3 doubles, James Weete and Jasper Pearman fell, 2-6.
- Singles play saw the Ravens win at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 2 to win the match and took a 5-0 lead after a win at No. 5.
- At No. 1, Andre Juscamaita dropped his first set, 1-6, however, nearly forced a third set before falling in the second set, 5-7.
- Liam Aguirre notched his first collegiate win, picking up a 6-2, 7-6 (10-8) win at No. 6.
