Men's Tennis Powers Past Rhode Island College
Leopards take four of six singles flights after sweeping doubles in a 5-2 win; Andre Juscamaita clinched the match with a win at No. 1 singles

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Andre Juscamaita won at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles, with the latter proving to be the match-clinching point as the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team topped Rhode Island College on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth swept doubles play to take a 1-0 lead. At No. 3, James Weete and Niko Rosich were 6-4 winners, which was followed by Pranav Marwaha and Rene Rodriguez teaming up for a 6-3 win at No. 2. Completing the sweep at No. 1 was Juscamaita and Eric Doraci who prevailed, 6-3.
- Doraci gave the Black & Gold a 2-0 lead when he took a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. singles, which was followed by Rosich winning, 7-6 (7-1), 6-2, at No. 4 to put Wentworth on top, 3-0.
- Rhode Island College took the next two matches to cut the lead to 4-2. At No. 5, Weete was defeated by a 1-6, 6-7 (2-7) score and Marwaha fell at No. 2, 6-7 (2-7), 4-6.
- Juscamaita took the first set at No. 1, 6-2, before dropping the second set, 4-6. However, he easily won the third set, 6-0, to take the match.
- Rodriguez wrapped up the match with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) win at No. 2.
