Men's Tennis Handles Bridgewater State
Leopards tame Bears, 5-2; Niko Rosich wins at No. 4 singles to clinch the match

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Niko Rosich's three-set win at No. 4 singles proved to be the difference as the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team defeated Bridgewater State, 5-2, in non-conference action Thursday afternoon.
With the win the Leopards improve to 2-7 while the Bears fall to 1-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the second straight match, Wentworth swept doubles play to take the early lead. Pranav Marwaha teamed with Rene Rodriguez to win, 6-2, at No.2, while Rosich and Manas Arya were 6-3 winners at No. 3. Eric Doraci and Andre Juscamaita teamed up at No. 1 for a 6-4 win, giving the Leopards a 1-0 lead.
- Juscamaita and Rodriguez won their respective singles matches, putting the Black & Gold on top, 3-0. Juscamaita was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at No. 1 and Rodriguez picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3.
- Bridgewater State pulled within a point with wins at No. 6 and No. 5. At No. 6, James Weete was defeated, 4-6, 3-6, while Doraci battled in three sets, eventually falling, 6-3, 0-6, 1-6, at No. 5.
- Rosich won his first set, 6-2, before falling, 3-6, in the second set. His 6-4 win in the third set gave the Leopards a 4-2 lead and clinched the match.
- Marwaha was a winner at No. 2, rallying to win, 5-7, 7-4, 6-3.
