Men's Tennis Sweeps Curry to Open Conference Play
Leopards drop just two games in singles play in the 7-0 win; their third straight win

MILTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team kicked off Conference of New England play in a big way, sweeping Curry on Saturday afternoon.
Winners of three straight, the Leopards improve to 3-7 overall (1-0 CNE), while the Colonels fall to 0-5 (0-1).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth won No. 3 doubles by default and picked up the doubles flight win when Eric Doraci and Liam Aguirre won, 6-1, at No. 1. Completing the doubles sweep were Grace Ferguson and Chris Hu, who won at No. 2, 6-3.
- After picking up wins at No. 5 and No. 6 by default, the Leopards held a 3-0 advantage. Niko Rosich clinched the match for the Black & Gold with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2.
- At No. 3, James Weete was a 6-0, 6-0 winner, while Andre Juscamaita won at No. 1, 6-0, 6-1.
- Tom Kot won, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 4.
- In the four singles matches, the Black & Gold dropped just two games.
