Men's Tennis Rolls to Fourth Straight Win
Leopards win three of the first four singles matches after taking the doubles flight in a 5-2 win over the Golden Bears. Eric Doraci, Rene Rodriguez each win two matches

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team won its fourth straight match as the Leopards downed Western New England, 5-2, in Conference of New England play on Tuesday afternoon.
Remaining undefeated since returning from spring break, the Leopards improve to 4-7 overall and 2-0 in CNE play. The Golden Bears dip to 2-3 (1-1).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Pranav Marwaha and Rene Rodriguez picked up a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles, giving Wentworth an advantage in the doubles flight. However, Western New England evened the flight when Niko Rosich and James Weete were defeated, 4-6, at No. 3. Eric Doraci teamed with Manas Ayra at No. 2 for a 6-4 win, giving the Leopards a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
- Rosich used a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 to give Wentworth a 2-0 lead before the Golden Bears got on the board when Arya was defeated, 2-6, 1-6, at No. 2.
- Doraci inched Wentworth closer to clinching the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 5 before Rodriguez clinched the match for the Black & Gold with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2.
- Weete gave Wentworth its fifth point of the match when he won, 6-2, 7-5, at No. 6.
- Marwaha was defeated, 1-6, 3-6, at No. 1.
