Outdoor Track Has Final Tune Up Before Conference Championship
Leopards compete at the Tufts Sunshine Classic and the Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday
BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology outdoor track team had its final tune up before next weekend's Commonwealth Coast Championship by competing in a pair of meets on Saturday. Senior Jared Pierce (Biddeford, Maine) competed at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT, where he placed third in both the discus (47.13M) and shot put (15.05M), while the remainder of the team competed at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. At that event, both the men's & women's squads placed sixth.
