Weather Cuts Short Men's Outdoor Track's Season Debut
Leopards compete in the weather-shortened Sean Livingston Invitational on Saturday
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – Stormy weather put a damper on the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's outdoor track & field's season opener as the Sean Livingston Invitational was cut short du to the heavy rains that blanketed the area on Saturday.
The Leopards fared well in the events that were completed, including placing third in the 4X100M relay where the Black & Gold placed third (48.76). Freshman Jon Savage (Hampton, N.H.) completed the 10K event in a time of 34:21.68, the first Leopard to finish that event in program history.
