Muller, Fouron Pick up First-Place Finishes at Tufts Snowflake Classic

MEDFORD, Mass. – Senior Nate Muller (Concord, N.H.) placed first in the pole vault and sophomore Fabrice Fouron (North Easton, Mass.) took home first place in the triple jump to help the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's outdoor track & field team to a fifth-place finish at the Tufts Snowflake Classic.

The Leopards scored 42 points in their impressive showing. Joining Muller and Fouron in scoring for the Black and Gold were Jack Chausse (Newport, R.I.), who earned eight points in the 800M after setting a program record with a time of 1:58.31, sophomore Ryan Ballard (Norwalk, Conn.) who earned four points in the 1500M, the 4X400M relay team of freshman Gabe Silva (Wareham, Mass.), freshman Matt Murphy (Braintree, Mass.), junior Ryan Abbotoni (Windham, Maine), and junior Scott Stehlik (Northport, N.Y.), who picked up six points, senior Tyler Klockars (Philipston, Mass.) who earned three points in the javelin, and freshman Evan Huang (Braintree, Mass.), who notched a point in the long jump.

Freshman Patrick Mahlet (Oxford, Mass.) set a program record in the 400M hurdles.
