Four from Men's Track & Field Place on CSC Academic All-District Team

BOSTON, Mass. – Four student-athletes from the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track and field team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District honorees.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's Track and Field Team, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
  • Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
  • Student-athletes must have finished the season in the top-50 of the NCAA's regional rankings for their respective event.

The Leopards' four honorees are sophomore Ryan Ballard (Norwalk, Conn.), sophomore Fabrice Fouron (North Easton, Mass.), senior Tyler Klockars (Phillipston, Mass.), and junior Nathaniel Smith (Beacon Falls, Conn.). Klockars repeats as a CSC Academic All-District honoree, taking home the accolade last season.
