Two First-Place Finishes Help Men's Indoor Track & Field to Seventh-Place Finish at Lynn Ruddy Invitational
Leopards get top finishes from Ezra Blasko (5000M), and Fabrice Fouron (triple jump) to finish in seventh place

BRUNSWICK, Maine. – Two first-place finishes by the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's indoor track & field team helped the Leopards place seventh at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational. The Leopards, who took home top billing in both the 3000M and the long jump.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the 800M, Wentworth scored seven points as Jack Newton picked up six with a third-place finish of 2:05.22. Robbie McCue earned a point by finishing eighth after crossing the line with a time of 2:22.63.
- Dylan Brilliant gave the Leopards four points after he finished fifth (2:47.70) in the 1000M, while Nathan Bergquist-Guimond earned three points with his sixth-place finish (4:57.97; three points) in the mile.
- The Black & Gold picked up 20 points in the 3000M. Ezra Blasko was first (10 points) with a time of 8:47.03, Ryan Ballard was second (eight points) with a time of 8:52.14), while Joey Cotta picked up two points with a seventh-place finish (9:14.60).
- Jon Savage finished third (six points) in the 5000M, crossing the line with a time of 16:15.96.
- Five points were earned by Wentworth in the 60M hurdles as Patrick Mahlert and Charlie Cevasco finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with times of 9.54 and 9.99.
- Fabrice Fouron picked up another first place finish in the triple jump (10 points) with a top jump of 14.12M.
