Ritter Named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – For the third time this season, senior Collin Ritter (Feeding Hills, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team has been named the Great Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Ritter earns the honor for matches played from March 26-April 1.

In a 2-1 week for the Leopards Ritter averaged 4.00 kills, 0.56 service aces, 5.89 assists, and 1.78 digs per set while hitting .338. In a 3-0 loss to Cal Lutheran, he had 10 kills, 18 assists, and two aces, and, in the process, became the program's all-time assist leader. He hit .524 (13-2-21) to go along with 16 assists, two aces, and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Mount Ida, and finished the week with his sixth triple-double of the season as he had 13 kills, 19 assists, and 11 digs.

On the season he is averaging 2.82 kills, 5.31 assists, 1.74 digs, and 0.93 blocks per set while hitting .361. His career assist total now sits at 3,521.

Wentworth concludes the regular season on Saturday at Lasell.
