Potter Picks Up GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors
Drew Potter hit .474 and led the Leopards with 11 kills in Wentworth's 3-0 sweep at Colby-Sawyer, earning him Rookie of the Week honors from the conference.
BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Drew Potter (Towson, Md.) picked up Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's volleyball rookie of the week honors as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Potter led the Leopards to a 3-0 sweep of Colby-Sawyer last week, keeping Wentworth atop the GNAC standings at 4-0. He hit a stifling .474 with a season-high 11 kills and added four service aces, totaling nine on the year which ranks second among his Leopard teammates.
The weekly honor is the fourth for the Leopards this season, and second time a rookie has been recognized.
The Leopards return to action tomorrow evening with a 6:00 p.m. non-conference match at #10 Endicott.
