Milke Earns Second-Straight GNAC Setter of the Week Award
Josh Milke earns second accolade in a row, dishing out over 30 assists in three of Wentworth's four wins this weekend
WINTHROP, Mass. – Following a 4-0 weekend co-hosting the Fenway Volleyball Classic, the top-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team took home a weekly award from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Junior Josh Milke was named GNAC Setter of the Week, his second award in as many weeks. The award is for matches played January 22-28.
Milke was a catalyst for the Black & Gold's offense at the Fenway Volleyball Classic, dishing out over 30 assists in three of the four matches en route to being named the tournament's most valuable player. In a win against No. 13 New Paltz, the junior recorded a weekend-high 37 assists and also chipped in with three kills and five digs.
The No. 1 Black & Gold are 6-0 this season and host Dean in their GNAC opener Thursday evening.
