Milke Earns Second Straight GNAC Setter of the Week Honor
Josh Milke tallies career-high 57 assists versus Lasell, adds 43 against No. 14 Nichols
WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior Josh Milke (Eastampton, N.J.) of the top-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team continued his terrific tear last week, resulting in back-to-back wins over Great Northeast Athletic Conference rival Lasell and No. 14-ranked Nichols and a new career-high, as the setter once again garnered GNAC Setter of the Week honors. Announced by the conference Monday afternoon, the award is for matches played February 12-18.
Milke earned his second straight and fourth overall award this week after pushing Wentworth's offense to two impressive wins. In a 3-1 win over the Lasers, Milke dished out a career-high 57 assists and added four digs and a kill. Versus the Bison a day later, the junior totaled 43 assists, two digs, and three solo blocks.
Off to their best start in program history, the 13-0 Leopards face Elms Tuesday night.
