#10 Men's Volleyball Stays Unbeaten in GNAC Play, Tops Emmanuel in Four Frames
Multiple Leopards stuff the stat sheet as Leopards improve to 14-3 in 2025; Ian Babcock notches team-high 14 kills

BOSTON, Mass. – Multiple student-athletes stuffed the stat sheet as the No. 10-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team defeated Great Northeast Athletic Conference foe Emmanuel in a four-set battle Wednesday night.
With the win, the Leopards stay undefeated in GNAC play (6-0) and improve their overall mark to 14-3. The Saints slip to 8-7 overall (3-3 GNAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two teams opened the match with traded scores, working the set to 3-3, before a 4-0 run featuring kills from Andrew Ahn and Alem Dubcak gave Wentworth a 7-3 lead. A finish by Nicolai Bell continued Wentworth's advantage to 15-10 before two kills from Andrade later helped extend the lead to 21-15. The Leopards, with kills from Ahn, Andrade, and Dubcak in the later going, held on for a 25-20 set win.
- The Saints began the second set with a 5-3 lead before continuing it along to 7-4 and 9-5 scores. Emmanuel extended their lead to 12-6 before two kills from Ian Babcock helped Wentworth claw back at 12-9. However, the Saints later stretched their lead to 19-13 before Wentworth rattled off a 4-0 and later 5-1 run to cling along at 24-22. The Saints held on for a 25-22 set win.
- Emmanuel took a 4-2 lead in the third set before four kills from Babcock marked a tie at 6-all. A finish by Andrade marked an 11-8 lead for the Leopards before another by Babcock marked a 14-12 score. The Leopards would rattle off an 8-2 run to later extend their lead to 22-16 before two kills from Andrade helped Wentworth claim a 25-19 set win.
- Two kills from Ahn and another by Dubcak guided the Leopards to a 6-3 lead in the fourth frame before another finish by Dubcak later pushed Wentworth's lead to 12-5. Another kill by Dubcak continued the advantage to 19-12 before finishes by Dubcak, Andrade, and Conner Foxwell paced the Leopards to a 25-16 set win.
SERIES NOTES:
- The Leopards toppled the Saints in four sets back on February 5 and have won 16 straight matchups between the two teams.

- Wentworth is off until March 8 when they face New Paltz State and MIT in a non-conference tri-match.
