Balanced Attack Leads #11 Men's Volleyball over Dean
Leopards sweep Bulldogs; Gabe Tucker, Jeremy Macek combine for 15 kills, while Temmy Argynbay notches 26 assists

FRANKLIN, Mass. – Backed by a .397 hitting percentage, the No. 11-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team used a balanced attack to breeze by Dean in straight sets in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play Thursday night.
With the win, the Black & Gold improve to 19-4 overall and 9-0 in GNAC play. The Bulldogs slip to 2-16 overall and 0-7 in conference action.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Leopards sprung out to a 10-3 lead in the first frame, with the run featuring a pair of kills by Jeremy Macek, before another kill from Macek marked a 13-6 set. Two finishes from Eli Turner pushed the advantage to 16-9 before a kill apiece from Gabe Tucker and Alek Reymond marked a 21-12 score. One final putaway from Macek marked a 25-16 set win.
- The Black & Gold raced out to a 13-4 advantage in the second set, featuring three kills from Tucker and another two from Macek. Finishes by Turner and Temmy Argynbay pushed the lead to 17-6 before a slew of errors helped Wentworth take a 25-10 set win.
- Wentworth started the third set with a 9-3 run, capped with two kills by Tucker, before a finish by Luke McQuaid helped continue the advantage to 14-6. The Leopards finished the set with an 11-6 run, featuring two kills from Luke Sun, to grab a 25-12 set win.
