Fourth-Place Finish for Men's Cross Country at Pop Crowell Invitational
Leopards place three runners in the top 20, narrowly missing third place

WENHAM, Mass. – Placing three runners among the top 20, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's cross country team finished fourth at the Pop Crowell Invitational, held on the campus of Gordon College.
Competing in their first 8K race of the season, the Leopards compiled 90 points, which was just two points behind third-place finisher Fitchburg State.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Joey Cotta led the way for the Black & Gold, finishing 13th with a time of 28:14.6, earning 12 points.
- Ezra Blasko was not far behind Cotta as he finished 15th (14 points) with a time of 28:21.1.
- Jack Newton finished with a time of 28:35.1 to finish 18th (17 points).
- Mark Murphy earned 21 points after finishing with a time of 29:08.2.
- Teddy Doyle completed Wentworth's scoring runners as he finished 27th (26 points) with a time of 29:32.1.
- Nathan Bergquist-Guimond placed 28th (29:37.2), followed by Hayden Pierce (37th; 30:26.2), Dylan Brilliant (38th; 30:31.4), and Jack Grater (39th; 30:34.1), all of whom finished within eight seconds of each other.
- Sean Giuliano crossed the line in a rime of 31:32.4 to place 51st, while Robbie McCue was 84th (36:26.2).
