BEVERLY, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology softball team wrapped a busy week in Florida with an accolade from the Conference of New England, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Lexi Lefkowski was named CNE Rookie of the Week for her performances in games played March 3 – 9.

Lefkowski was among the Leopards' most efficient hitters last week, batting .429 (.536 slugging) with three doubles and five stolen bases. The rookie outfielder also notched four RBI across 28 at-bats.

The Black & Gold (4-6) visit Brandeis on Saturday.
