Rodgerson to be Inducted into UNE Hall of Fame

BIDDEFORD, Maine - Head women's basketball coach Amanda Rodgerson was a standout basketball player at the University of New England from1998-2002 and her collegiate career will be honored when she is inducted as a member of UNE's 2010 Atheltic Hall of Fame class. Rodgerson, who recently completed her third season as the head coach of the Leopards, ranks as the Nor'Easters second-leading scorer with 1,751 points and is third in rebounds with 870. She was a four-time all-conference selection, the Maine Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year in 1999 and Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2002.

 

In addition to Rodgerson, Pete Ciccarelli SFC '78 and Lori (Koudelka) Whitworth '92 will comprise the University's sixth Hall of Fame class. The Class of 2010 will join 12 other individuals and four teams in the Hall of Fame.

 

The induction ceremony will take place on Friday evening, September 24.
