BOSTON, Mass. – On Saturday, October 20, members of the Wentworth women's basketball program took part in the 2012 Mission Hill Road Race, an annual 5K road race and walk which takes participants through the Mission Hill neighborhood, of which Wentworth is adjacent to.

This annual event helps to raise money for the Kevin W. Fitzgerald Park, which is located within in the neighborhood. The park, formerly known as Puddingstone Park, was re-named in 2006 to honor longtime former Massachusetts State Representative, who served area constituents from 1974-2002.

In addition to raising money to support improvements to the park, area institutions compete for the "Puddingstone Pot," awarded annually to the school with the highest participation.
