BEVERLY, Mass. – Grace Sweet of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team earned league-wide recognition Monday afternoon as she was named the Conference of New England Rookie of the Week. Sweet's accolade comes from games played between March 3 – 9.

Sweet played a major role in dominant wins for the Leopards last week, combining for five goals (on six shots on goal) and three assists in triumphs over Trinity (D.C.) and Notre Dame (Md.). The rookie midfielder also caused three turnovers and scooped 11 ground balls.

Wentworth (3-1) travels to Dean on Thursday.
