Trio from Women’s Soccer Earn CNE Postseason Accolades
Jenny Montville and Jordan Dahan both earn spots on the all-conference third team while Lina Arlander claims a spot on the conference's Community Service Team
BEVERLY, Mass. – Following the conclusion of regular season play, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team had three student-athletes earn postseason accolades from the Conference of New England, as announced by the league office Friday afternoon. Forward Jenny Montville and midfielder Jordan Dahan both represented the Leopards as All-CNE third team members while forward Lina Arlander was named the Black & Gold's representative on the conference's Community Service Team.
The postseason awards were voted on by the league's ten head coaches at the conclusion of the regular season.
Montville, now a two-time all-conference honoree, led the Leopards' offensive corps with a career-high eight goals on a team-high 28 shots on goal and 17 points this season. The senior started in 15 of her 16 appearances and added in two game-winning goals, including a dramatic final tally against Suffolk in Wentworth's season finale.
Montville's career concludes with 19 goals, seven assists, and 45 total points in 57 career games. The Plainville, Mass. native totaled five game-winning goals across her four-year career and was named an All-CCC (previously Commonwealth Coast Conference ahead of 2024) third team member in the 2022 postseason.
Dahan earns her first postseason recognition this season after notching career-highs in points (8) and assists (4). The junior was one of only three Leopards to start in each of the team's 18 contests. This season, Dahan punched in her first career game-winning goal in a 5-2 triumph over Nichols.
For her career, Dahan has six goals, six assists, and 18 points across 51 appearances. Of her 31 career shots, 18 have been placed on goal. The Kennesaw, Ga. native has also started in 50 of her 51 career games.
Arlander was named as the Leopards' first-ever representative on the CNE's Community Service Team this season. The junior takes the lead organizing and carrying out many team initiatives, including establishing many promotional games such as Cystic Fibrosis Awareness, Suicide Prevention, Breast Cancer Awareness, and more. Arlander organizes the Leopards' annual campaign of writing letters to members of senior living communities and has constructed the team's plan to volunteer as coaches with the soccer unity project later this month.
Wentworth finished the 2024 season with a 5-9-4 record, a three-win improvement from a season ago.
