WACHUSETT, Mass. – Wentworth's women's tennis team snapped a three-match losing streak with an 8-1 win over Anna Maria in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference contest.

The host AMCATS defaulted at number six singles and number three doubles to give Wentworth a 2-0 lead and that lead was extended to 3-0 when Angela Brandt (Northport, Maine) and Jeannine Stover (Calais, Maine) teamed at number two doubles for the win.  Anna Maria won its lone match at number one doubles.

In singles play, Joanna Gustafson (Ashburnham, Mass.), Brandt, Lydia Caserta (Hudson, Mass.), Meredith Gratton (West Chazy, N.Y.), and Natalya Cappellini (Falmouth, Mass.) were all victorious.
