Women's Tennis Concludes 2021 Campaign

BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's tennis team completed its 2021 season as the Leopards were defeated by Endicott, 9-0, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference match played at Daly Field.

Senior Ali Sollecito (Taunton, Mass.) teamed with sophomore Morgan Collins (Warwick, R.I.) at No. 1 doubles, falling, 8-2. Senior Hannah Erickson (Columbia, Conn.) and sophomore Ele Orfanini (Miami, Fla.) were defeated at No. 2, 8-0, while senior CiCi Deakin (Standish, Maine) and junior Kirsten Gramajo (Boston, Mass.) were defeated at No. 3, 8-2.

Collins lost at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0, while Sollecito fell, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 1. Deakin lost, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 5, Erickson was bested at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0, Orfanini lost at No. 3, 6-2, 6-0, and freshman Kiara Hima (Oakville, Conn.) lost at No. 6, 6-1, 6-0.

Sollecito ends her career with 26 singles wins, tying her for second on the program's all-time win list.
