Santos Carries Women's Indoor Track to Seventh-Place Finish
Laci Santos scored the Leopards' eight points including breaking the program record in the 60M hurdles
BOSTON, Mass. – Three program records were established as the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track team placed seventh at the Lyon Invitational, held on the campus of Wheaton College.
The Leopards earned eight points coming from sophomore Laci Santos (Medway, Mass.), who had a third-place finish in the 60M hurdles (program record 9.86) and a fifth-place finish in the long jump.
Freshman Tati Sicard (Mansfield, Mass.) jumped a program-best in the triple jump, while freshman Ashley Quintal (Portsmouth, R.I.) shattered the weight throw record with a mark of 8.25M.
