Sicard Sets Two Program Records for Women's Indoor Track & Field
Tati Sicard sets program marks in the shot put and weight throw for the Leopards at the Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational
WALTHAM, Mass. – Tati Sicard set a pair of program records to help the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field team post a ninth-place finish at the Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational at Brandeis University.
The Leopards placed ninth, picking up eight points on the day as the Black & Gold competed as a full team for the first time this season.
Laci Santos picked up four points with a 10.03 time in the 60M hurdles, placing fifth. The 4X200M relay team of Olivia Holley, Rachel Hagarty, Laci Santos, and Annabelle Mendez earned two points with a seventh-place finish (2:00.64). Sicard's program-best 10.29M throw in the shot put placed her eighth to pick up a point, while Bianca Resende-Ambroise with eighth in the triple jump, picking up a point with an eighth-place finish and setting the program record with a top jump of 9.74M.
Sicard competed in the weight throw for the first time in her career and finished 10th with a top throw of 11.11M, shattering the program record by 2.75M.
