Zweifler Claims CNE Libero of the Week Honor
Amanda Zweifler earns fourth career honor after totaling career-high 29 digs versus Hartford and 40 across two wins
BEVERLY, Mass. – For the first time this season and fourth time in her career, Amanda Zweifler of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's volleyball team has been recognized with a weekly award from the Conference of New England. Zweifler was named the CNE Libero of the Week, with the award being for matches played between November 4 -10, the final week of the regular season.
Zweifler totaled 40 digs, including a career-high 29 versus Hartford, through wins over the Hawks and the University of New England. She chipped in with five service aces and five assists between the two matches as well.
The junior currently ranks sixth in the league with her 3.61 digs per set while also tacking on 49 service aces, ranking second on the Black & Gold, and 79 assists.
The Leopards, currently holding a 17-10 overall mark, host a semifinal matchup in the CNE Tournament on Thursday night.
