Two from Women's Volleyball Claim Academic All-District Honors
Olivia Vaughn and Amanda Zweifler earn spots on the CSC Academic All-District Team, their first-ever respective honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Two Wentworth Institute of Technology women's volleyball student-athletes have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators as Academic All District honorees.
The 2024 Academic All-District® and Women's Volleyball Team, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
Wentworth's two honorees are Olivia Vaughn and Amanda Zweifler, both of whom are first-time All-District honorees.
