Evin Giglio is entering his seventh season as the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology and is the first coach in program history to post back to back .500 or better seasons, having completed this in 2013 and 2014.

Giglio took the Leopards to new heights in 2017, including their first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference Semifinal appearance. Giglio steered Wentworth to a 25-5 mark in its winningest season in program history, highlighted by a ten-game win streak towards the conclusion of the regular season. The Leopards’ 3-2 victory over Western New England marked their first postseason win, before falling to top-seeded Roger Williams in the semifinal match.

In 2016, Giglio and the Leopards earned the No. 4 seed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament, which was their first postseason appearance since 2012. Wentworth posted a 23-5 overall record and a 5-4 mark against league opponents, which earned them the No. 4 seed in the tournament, and a first-ever home court postseason match. The Leopards closed out the season with a 23-6 record, a program-best at the time.

The 2015 edition of the Leopards finished the season with a 10-17 record, marking the third straight season Giglio has guided his squad to double digits in victories. The Leopards remained in the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoff hunt until late in the season.

In his first season (2012), Giglio guided the Leopards to their second straight CCC Tournament berth with a sixth-place finish. Wentworth finished the season with an 8-16 record and had a pair of student-athletes named to the all-conference team.

A season later the Leopards enjoyed their finest season to date doubling their win total from eight to 16 and finishing with a 16-11 mark. Half of Wentworth’s wins came by way of 3-0 scores and had both a four-match win streak and would win five out of six matches late in the year. The Leopards just missed an appearance in the CCC Tournament as the tournament seedings came down to the final day.

The 2014 season saw Wentworth finish with a 14-14 record and just narrowly missed the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament. Nine of Wentworth’s 14 wins came by 3-0 scores, including winning four straight matches by that score. Giglio coached an Academic All-America in Sam Curran, while Curran finished as the program’s all-time leader in digs and Shannon Ponce finished as the program’s all-time assist leader.

Giglio, who is also entering his eighth season as Wentworth’s men’s volleyball coach and was a 2014 and 2017 AVCA Thirty Under 30 recipient, served as an Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Austin Peay University during the 2010 season where he primarily worked with the middle blockers as well as assisting with practice planning, player evaluation, scouting reports, film breakdown, team travel, and gameday operations. The Governors enjoyed their best record in 18 seasons, going 25-7 (14-4 Ohio Valley Conference) won their first OVC Championship since 1991 and earned the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament berth.

A two-year member of the Springfield College men’s volleyball program, he appeared in seven matches as a junior and helped the Pride to a 14-10 record and a berth in the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association – a Division I men's volleyball conference – Quarterfinals. A year later he was a student assistant for the Pride, helping them to a 20-11 record and the sixth Molten Division III Men's Volleyball National Championship in program history. He graduated from Springfield in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in communication/sports journalism.

Before transferring Springfield, Giglio played two seasons for Moorpark (Calif.) College where he was a starting middle blocker and served as a team captain. He recorded 12 blocks in a match, which still stands as a program record. In addition to playing for the Raiders, he was also a student assistant for the women's team. He earned an Associate's degree from Moorpark in 2008. In 2018, he earned a Master's Degree from Concordia University-Irvine in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

In addition to his duties as the head men’s volleyball coach, Giglio is also an equipment and facilities assistant in the department.
