Women's Cross Country Places Sixth at Pop Crowell Invitational
Emma Schaumloffel leads the Leopards with a 27th-place finish

WENHAM, Mass. – Emma Schaumloffel finished 27th among 84 runners to help the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country to a sixth-place finish at the Pop Crowell Invitational on the campus of Gordon College.
The Leopards' first 6K race of the season saw the Black & Gold pick up 209 points in the 11-team field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Schaumloffel finished with a time of 26:08.9, marking the second straight meet she has been Wentworth's top finisher.
- Summer Daniels picked up 33 points for the Leopards, finishing 35th with a time of 26:38.1.
- Erin MacLean finished 49th (42 points) after crossing the line with a time of 29:21.8.
- Abby Morency came in 58th with a time of 31:45.2 to earn 49 points.
- Megan Leger rounded out the Leopards' scoring runners with 58 points (73rd place; 58 points).
- Annie King (76th place; 37:41.1) also competed for the Black & Gold.
