Women's Cross Country has Final Tuneup Before Championship Season
Leopards place 13th at the Golden Bear Invitational with Summer Daniels placing 43rd

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – In its final tuneup before championship season, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team competed at the Golden Bear Invitational, held on the campus of Western New England University
The Leopards placed 13th with a team score of 329.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Summer Daniels led Wentworth with a 43rd place finish (39 points), finishing with a time of 26:04.
- Erin MacLean was the next Leopard to cross the line, finishing 86th (65 points) in a time of 28:50.
- Emma Schaumloffel continued her solid rookie campaign, earing 66 points and finishing right behind MacLean with a time of 28:52.
- Abby Morency placed 100th (74 points), crossing the line with a time of 29:50.
- Megan Leger rounded out Wentworth's scoring runners, placing 135th (85 points) with a time of 34:46.
- Annie King also ran for the Black & Gold as she finished 142nd with a time of 37:34.
