Women's Cross Country Competes at CNE Championship
Leopards finish eighth with Summer Daniels finishing 48th place

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team competed at the 2024 Conference of New England Championship, held Saturday afternoon on the campus of Western New Egland University.
The Leopards posted an eighth-place finish, amassing 238 points. Suffolk won its fourth straight title, scoring 37 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Summer Daniels led Wentworth with a 48th-place finish, crossing the line in a time of 25:54.34, to score 39 points.
- Erin MacLean picked up 44 points with her 54th-place finish (26:33.17).
- Emma Schaumloffel was 71st with a time of 28:17.44, claiming 49 points.
- Abby Morency posted a time of 29:00.59, which was good for 77th place (52 points).
- Megan Leger rounded out the scoring for the Leopards, tallying 54 points after finishing 89th (32:09.27).
- Annie King also competed for the Black & Gold, finishing 92nd (35:44.00)
