Jessie Koffman enters her fifth season at the helm of the Wentworth women’s lacrosse program.

Koffman steered the Leopards to a breakout season in 2018, as Wentworth posted a program-best 7-9 overall record. The Leopards additionally notched their first-ever conference win, a 19-17 victory over Nichols College, and closed the season with two league victories after topping Curry 18-15 on senior day. Wentworth landed a program-best three players on the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference teams, including two players on the second team. 

In 2017, Koffman coached to the Leopards’ first All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selection, a third-team honoree, who set a number of single season records. Despite a 2-14 showing overall, the Leopards scored 115 goals, and dropped a handful of contests by two goals or less. Wentworth scored 136 goals in the 2016 season, including 21 goals in a non-conference victory against Elms for a program record.

The 2015 campaign saw the Leopards win four games, which equaled the amount of contests won in the program’s first two seasons of varsity existence combined, as well as setting program records for lowest goals against average and highest save percentage.

Prior to becoming Wentworth’s head women’s lacrosse coach, Koffman served as the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Dedham High School. During her three seasons coaching the Marauders, Koffman helped the squad to 17 wins, including qualifying for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament for the first time in program history during the 2013 season.

A native and current resident of Andover, Mass., Koffman began her collegiate playing career at Whittier College where she scored 20 points on 18 goals and two assists during the 2007 season for the Poets.

After spending the 2008 and 2009 seasons as an Assistant Varsity Coach and the Head Junior Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass., she played two seasons at Curry College where she scored 189 points (121 goals, 68 assists) in 39 games for the Colonels. In her junior season (2011) she scored 79 goals and assisted on 50 others for 129 points, helping Curry to a 16-5 record and a berth in the championship game of the ECAC Division III New England Tournament. That season she ranked fourth in Division III in total points, fifth in points per game (6.14), eighth in goals, and 10th in assists.

During the 2010 season she was named Honorable Mention All-Commonwealth Coast Conference and was a First Team All-CCC selection in 2011. A captain during the 2011 season, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English in 2012.
