Libby Field
Since the start of the 2019-2020 season, the Wentworth baseball team has called Libby Field in Weymouth, Mass., home. Redone with a FieldTurf surface in 2018, Libby Field is the home of Weymouth High School baseball and has hosted numerous tournaments over the last few seasons, including the American Legion World Series. The Leopards first played a game at Libby in April 2019, and began practicing there full-time in the fall of 2019.
Outfitted with a Musco lighting system, Libby Field is able to hold competitions and practices during the evening hours. There are fully covered dugouts on both the first and third base sides, with enclosed bullpens down the left and right field lines. Beyond the center field batter’s eye there is a support building that contains restrooms.
Located at 92 Middle Street, the field is easily accessible from Massachusetts Route 3.
