Women's History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Abriana Busbey

In honor of Women's History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable female student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight sophomore Abriana Busbey of the women's basketball team.

Why Wentworth?

  • It's in my favorite city, has a great architecture program, and allowed the opportunity for me to play basketball.

Favorite snack?

  • Buffalo Chicken Dip

Your hype song?

  • The Phantom of the Opera

Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?  

  • Both, whenever I listen to music, I have to sing

What is your favorite spot in Boston or on campus?

  • The Boston Public Library or the Museum of Fine Arts

Any game day superstitions?

  • Always end warmups with a made shot

  • AOC (Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.))

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?

  • I was born and raised in Alaska
