She will also focus on enhancing the department's social media efforts, assist with new initiatives, and will serve as the sport administrator for Wentworth's cross country and indoor track programs.

Machado joined the Leopards from Lasell College where she served as the Director of Sports Information and Event Management for three years (2014-2017). While with the Lasers, she was responsible for all aspects of publicity for Lasell's 15 sports, including statistics, press releases, website content, and all social media efforts. Additionally, she was responsible for contest management for all home contests, recruiting, hiring, and training student workers to fill gameday positions.

Prior to joining the Lasers' staff, Machado spent a year at Becker College as the Assistant Sports Information Director where she served as the contact person for eight of the Hawks' sports, maintaining statistics, writing press releases and providing content for the Becker Athletics website.

Machado twice (2016, 2017) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Sports Information Director of the Year and in 2017 was a recipient of a grant to attend the College Sports Information Directors of America Workshop in Orlando, Fla. An active member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference-Sports Information Directors' Association as Social Media Chair of the Executive Board, she will serve as a co-chair for the 2019 ECAC-SIDA Workshop, which will be held in Framingham, Mass.

A 2013 graduate of Lasell with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Communication and a minor in coaching, Machado was a four-year member of the Lasers' women's soccer team where she helped the program win three GNAC Championships and earn three NCAA Division III Tournament bids. Upon graduation, she spent a season at Curry College as an assistant women's soccer coach, helping the Colonels to the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament and was responsible for player academics and recruiting. She earned her Master's Degree in Sport Management from Lasell this past August.
