- The Lynx picked up the first point of singles play as Pulling defeated Erickson, 6-4, 6-3, at No. 5. However, the Leopards claimed the next two points to win the match. At No. 4, Collins defeated Lampray, 6-1, 6-2, which set the stage for DeLuca to clinch the match with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 win over Anderson at No. 2.
- Lesley made it 5-2 when freshman Joselyn Martinez (Somerville, Mass.) defeated Deakin at No. 6, 4-6, 6-2, 12-10, however, McGibbon's 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Jovanovich at No. 3 and Sollecito's 6-0, 6-4 triumph over Abbott at No. 1 rounded out the match.
