Chapman Snags Fourth-Straight Rookie of the Week Award

BOSTON, Mass. – For the fourth consecutive week, Wentworth women's volleyball freshman setter Jordan Chapman (Clearwater, Fla.) takes home Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. 

Chapman, who averaged 9.38 assists per set, booked back-to-back double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Black & Gold. She broke yet another school record in the first match of the week with 47 assists and 17 digs in a five-set drawback with Roger Williams, and closed out the week with 28 assists in a 3-0 sweep over Emmanuel. She additionally picked up a block in each match, alongside three kills and three aces.

Chapman currently ranks in the top-10 among conference stat leaders in total assists (294), assists per set (6.66), and service aces (20).

Wentworth returns home to Tansey Gymnasium tomorrow for a 7:00 p.m. match against future CCC foe Suffolk University.
