Women's History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Sabrina Haarstick
Meet Leopard junior softball student-athlete Sabrina Haarstick as part of our celebrating female student-athletes during Women's History Month
In honor of Women's History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable female student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight junior Sabrina Haarstick of the softball team.
Why Wentworth?
- I chose Wentworth because of the coop opportunity that we are able to have. I also chose it because of the location, as being able to live in Boston is such an amazing experience. But one of the most important reasons why was because it made me feel at home, in the way that once I stepped onto campus, I knew right away that this was the place for me.
Favorite snack?
- Clementine's
Your hype song?
- It's hard to choose one, but I would have to say I'm Still Standing by Elton John. I like any kind of rock music from the 70s and 80s. I have a playlist filled with songs that I like to listen to before a game or practice.
Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?
- Both!
What is your favorite spot in Boston or on campus?
- Faneuil Hall
Any game day superstitions?
- I typically don't have any superstitions, but there are days that I will listen to the same song beforehand.
Female Role Model?
- My Great Aunt Rose
Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?
- I am a family-oriented person, who is also an avid reader, loves to learn new things and enjoys baking.
