Glover Earns CCC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior attackman Steve Glover (Marstons Mills, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week of April 7-13.

Glover helped the Leopards to a 2-0 week and extend their win streak to three games by scoring 10 goals and adding an assist for an 11-point week. In a 12-4 win over Curry he netted five goals and assisted on one other before completing the week with a five-goal performance in a 15-12 win at Gordon. Wentworth's win over the Fighting Scots was the program's first-ever win on Gordon's home field and in that contest his final two goals extended Wentworth's lead from one to three.

In 11 games for the Black & Gold, Glover has 28 points, which has come on 23 goals and five assists. He has scored at least one point in nine games thus far and has multiple goals in six contests.

For his career he has played in 48 games and has scored 119 points, which has come on 93 goals and 26 assists. He ranks sixth all-time in program history in goals scored and ninth in total points.

Wentworth sits at 6-6 overall (3-3 CCC) and hosts Salve Regina Tuesday night.
