SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the third time this season, freshman Dan McSolla (Bridgewater, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's cross country team has been honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as he earned CCC Men's Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week honors for the week of September 22-28.

McSolla, who was named the league's runner of the week on September 9 and rookie of the week on both September 2 and September 9, helped the Leopards to a second-place finish at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College. He covered the eight kilometer course in a time of 28:05, which placed him third in the field of 149 runners.

In his first four collegiate meets, he has a first, third, fourth and 10th place finish to his credit.

Wentworth is at the Tri-State Invitational on Saturday.
