In honor of Black History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable black student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight senior Kayla Kelley of the women's basketball team.

Why Wentworth?

  • Wentworth gave me the opportunity to go to school for free and also helps to prepare yourself for the future.

Is there a tradition, event, or food you enjoy with family and/or friends to celebrate your heritage?

  • Arroz con pollo (Spanish rice and chicken)

  • Not really

If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be?

  • Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, and or Malcolm X

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?

  • I am the youngest of eight children and have 15 nieces and nephews
