Women's History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Krisila Hammett

In honor of Women's History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable female student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight junior Krisila Hammett of the women's volleyball team.

Why Wentworth?

  • I wanted to go somewhere with new opportunities, where I could make friends. Wentworth is a place that embraces and supports ideas and aspirations of all types, and I had to be a part of that community.

Favorite snack?

  • M & Ms

Your hype song?

  • Don't Stop Me Now by Queen

Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?

  • Both (And any other time I'm alone)

What is your favorite spot in Boston or on campus?

  • Burger King. Specifically, the one near Boston common. Good food.

Any game day superstitions?

  • I have to listen to music before a match, or I can't play.

Female Role Model?

  • My Grandma Doris

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?

  • I have a deaf cat and I call him Beans :)
