BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Soccer team rolled off its third straight win Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology.

With the win, the Hawks remain undefeated in Commonwealth Coast Conference play, improving to 3-0-0 in the conference and 8-2-0 overall. Wentworth falls to 1-7-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the CCC.

Senior back Kamali Webson (Bellingham, Mass.) emerged as the Hawks' hero, coming through with his fourth straight game-winning goal for RWU. Webson headed in a corner kick from Billy Kissane (Glastonbury, Conn.) in the 32nd minute to give a 1-0 lead that would prove to be the difference.

The Hawks nearly had another opportunity to tack on another score on the board in the 63rd minute, with Kisane coming down on a breakaway. However, a takedown just outside the box by the Leopards' keeper John Longo (Needham, Mass.) led to a red card but prevented a sure goal.

Tom Mangels (Garden City, N.Y.) took home his fifth win of the season, making two saves in the game. Longo stopped one shot on the day (63:19) before Cody Gibb (Foster, R.I.) finished the game (26:41), also adding a save.

Roger Williams hosts Babson College on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Wentworth takes on Western New England on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
